Hi i am having a problem with start up on my computer can you help i am using windows vista 32 as it starts a error measage appears saying disk boot failure and insert disk i ant the greatist on computers so a bit of advice would be much appreceated thankyou if you could help .

Disk boot failure means the machine can't boot from your hdd (hard drive). That can mean your hdd has failed and needs replacing.Other times,if you are lucky, it means Windows is corrupt and can't be started from the hdd.
Try tapping away at the F11 key immediately after powering on to see if you can boot into Recovery Manager to reinstall Vista.

If you managed to get Vista reinstalled, you might want to look at getting your OS Recovery DVD set burned.The set can be used to boot the machine and do a fresh format and reinstall when needed. It usually takes 4-5 dvds, use good quality such as Sony.
