my computer s5625 freezes

I have a HP slimline Pavillion S5625UK XH817EA it has windows 7 64bit OS I have not changed anything recently but over the past few weeks I turn it on and within 10 mins of reaching desktop it freezes and I have to pull the plug, I turn it on again start using it and within half an hour in freezes. After the third time of turning it on it is fine for the rest of the day. Any ideas?
