I have a brand new pavilion p6-2171a . On starting for the second time I typed i password and all i have now is a blank screen with win 7 at the bottom and a tiny what looks like a keyboard in top left have tried restarting but now no password just same screen Ray

Hello RayPerth,

 

Restart the computer and on boot up continually press F8 to get into Safe mode. Are you able to get into safe mode?

 

During this time of the black screen is there any cursors or anything on the screen?

Does the mouse and keyboard work?
