Get message Boot Test failed after installing 2nd new hard drive. Was able to install windows 7 on the new drive but now the boot no longer sees the original drive. Any suggestions. Hooked up both hard drives, put Windows 7 disk in CD, did Repair the Computer option. Tried to use Bootrec.exe option to scan the boot drive but still only display the new drive, not the original boot drive.
I want the original drive to be the boot drive and the new one to be storage. Can anyone help me?

Why did you install Windows on the new hdd if it is for storage only? You should have only installed the drive, booted into Windows and used Disk Management to set up the new hdd for storage.
Take out the new hdd and repair your original Windows install. Next install the new hdd and see if the machine will boot up. If successful, right click "Computer' icon and select Manage. Look in left sidebar for Disk Management, click to expand. If the new hdd is shown on the right, right click and format it.
