I am trying to deploy windows 7 on dell latitude e5540 and it is causing an error "The following network device did not have a driver installed. PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_155A&SUBSYS_05E01028&REV_04" and i remember encountering the same problem with the desktop then i removed couple of drivers and created a new image..when i tried that image for this laptop , it says "DHCP lease was not obtained for any networking device? possible cause:check physical connection."

can some one help on this...

Hi:

This seems to be the driver you need...32 or 64 bit as applicable.

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=18713&lang=eng&ProdId=3706

You will find the hardware ID listed in the e1d64x64 setup information file.

The only other suggestion I can offer is to post your situation on the Dell Desktop Support Forum and see if anyone there can help you.
