Need New Boot Disk/No recovery disk for Windows 8.1

Screen says hp.con./go/techcenter/startup

My other computer is a windows 7 and the new computer that is getting the message is supposed to be Windows 8.1. Can I somehow make a recovery disk on the Windows 7 system so that I can get the new system up and running.

When requesting assistance, please provide the complete model name and/or product number of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq makes thousands of models of computers. Without this information it may be difficult or impossible to assist you in resolving your issue.

The above requested information can be found on the side, back or bottom of the computer. Please do not include the serial number. Please enter the model/product information into HP's Online Consumer Support page and/or post it here for our review.

Sorry, but you cannot create recovery discs for a one computer on another computer. You will need to order HP Recovery Discs from the drivers support page for your computer or via the HP Worldwide Support Portal.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Please click the white KUDOS star to show your appreciation
