@ hercules9

I just checked the links and they are working for me, using IE9. They should work using Firefox too ,may have been a temporary glitch. If trying at a later time still doesnt work try clearing temp files and cookies.

Re: OS Recovery-HP Recovery Manager.....FAIL!

I hope that HP is saving more money by hiring out of country tech helpers than it is losing by alienating it's customers. If not then I don't see much hope for HP in the future.

Did you receive the recovery kits yet?  Otherwise, please send me the order and tracking numbers as well.

Re: OS Recovery-HP Recovery Manager

You will not be able to use F11 to go to the Recovery partition and recover your system because updating your Win 7 system to Win 8 disabled F11.  Did you create Recovery Media before the update?

Great guide Cheryl!

Here is another related HP article that helps make sense of all the various software recovery tools in Windows 8:

Re: OS Recovery-HP Recovery Manager

Hello KATHYIMLER,

I see that you are having a problem with running a recovery on your HP computer. You will need to order the recovery discs from HP.

Here is a link to the HP website where you can order the discs.

Let me know if you have questions.
