Hello,

I have a HP T620 dual core TC that came with a linux

distribution preinstalled and i have downloaded the Microsoft

Windows Embedded Standard 7E 8G-Flash Image from drivers and

software for HP t620 Flexible Thin Client just for a few

testing but after the installation begins it promt me for the

license " "Initializing...***ERROR*** The sistem does

not have license for the image OS!"" The BIOS vs is

L40 v02.05. What should i have to do? I also tried to use the

standard 7 SP1 toolkit but it doesn't find the sata drivers;

also the same problem with an oem windows 7 pro dvd; could you

Dear Customer,

Welcome to HP Support Forum and we are glad to assist you.

It looks like you are not able to install Microsoft Windows Embedded Standard 7E 8G Flash Image on your HP t620 Thin client. We will surely be glad to give you the options we are left with in order to resolve this issue

This is to inform you that it is not possible for us to switch to Windows Embedded Standard Operating System from Linux based Thinpro or Smart Zero Operating System Image as it would result with a License & Quot Error

As of now on your Thin client you can switch between Thinpro and Smart Zero Operating System however its not possible for switching/installing Windows Embedded Standard Operating System Image

Incase if you have too many Thin clients where you are trying to install Microsoft WES 7 Image, I would kindly request with you to get in touch with your Company Account Manager, so that he/she can contact the HP Sales or Point of Purchase where you bought this Thin client from in order to find out if they can provide a replacement Thin client which has Microsoft WES 7 Image as per your requirements

Hope this helps, for any further queries reply to the post and feel free to join us again
