razakpishara,

This is a peer-to-peer user supported forum for HP products. HP maintains no official presence on this forum. It is unlikely that HP will respond in an official capacity. Any reply from a HP employee represents their own opinion and not that of HP's.

Here are the specs for your HP ENVY dv6-7304se Notebook Computer. Here is the Software and Drivers Download page for your computer. There is no download for the "HP Recovery Manager" for your computer and if you partitioned the hard drive, you may need to use the HP Recovery Discs or USB Recovery media you create when you first setup your new computer. If you didn't create the discs or USB media, you will need to contact HP in your local region or the region the computer was purchased in to resolve your issue.

Please send KUDOs

Hello ankul.  I understand you're like to perform an HP System Recovery.

I'd like to note that any data which you do not back up PRIOR to the recovery will be lost forever.

Here are the instructions for performing an HP System Recovery.

Have a great day.

@786-123,

Are you looking for the HP Recovery Manager for your system?

This is something that is pre-installed on the system.  If it is missing, then there may be an underlying issue.  Is the system using the original OS the unit came with?  Has the HDD partitions been modified in any way?

I did not find a recovery manager for windows 8 available for download as others have mentioned.  If the unit came with Windows 8 and the recovery manager is missing, then a full system recovery will be needed to restore it.

Hello

I have a HP DV7-1095eo that came with a vista.

I upgraded to W7 and then to W8.

W8 and this system is not very good when it comes to compability.

now I wish to go back to the vista that I have on my recovy partision (it is still there)

Is there a solution for it?

Thanks,

Marvin
