Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My restore disc(s) failed, and now I have moved and lost them.

 

I tried to download (on a different computer) the disk image from Windows, but was told that since it was pre-installed by HP, I can't.

 

Can you PLEASE tell me how I can download a fresh copy of Windows 7, 64bit????

I don't see that HP carries recovery disks for your PC anymore.

 

You can still get a set from this non-HP vendor.

There are also 3rd party websites such as this one where you can download a W7 ISO file.

I'm trying them now.  Thanks you SO much!  I'e been searching for just this, but without success for months!  I'm so glad I posted!  I'll let you know if they don't work!

If you are downloading the ISO file you will need to either use the Burn ISO file option on your DVD burning program, or use this Microsoft tool to either create a DVD or a bootable usb flash installation drive.
