Pavillion Elite 190T
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was trying to fix an issue with one of my mirrored 1T drives when I mistakenly deleted both drives.  Now I have no boot up or data on these drives at all.  I tryed to get software from HP Support but my computer is long out of warrantee so no help could be found on the HP Support site.  It looks lioke I will have to purchase a new Windows 10 Pro OS, but I thought I would ask yo guys first...  Can you suggest anything I can do before that?  Thanks!

If you had Windows 10 installed, there shouldn't be a problem.

With the new Microsoft licensing model that was put in place over the past year, the license activation for your PC is kept on the Microsoft online activation server.

Install from an ISO and as soon as you go online it will self-activate.

How did you "delete"?

Did you use the RAID software to "break" the "mirroring" -- such that one drive no longer mirrors the other?

Did you use FORMAT, with the "quick" option, to rewrite the "table of contents", i.e., replacing the index to your files by an "empty" index?  If so, there does exist "file recovery" software that will scan the other 99% of the disk-drive, to try to identify the folders and sub-folders, and to let you selectively copy files to an external disk-drive.

Did you use FORMAT, with the "full" option, to write "zero" bytes everywhere on the disk-drive?

If you connect one of the disk-drives to another computer, do you see any files/folders?

I looked at: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-Elite-HPE-Desktop-PC-series/4079700/mode...

and there are device-drivers and software for Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Unfortunately, for this model, there is no hyperlink to purchase a copy of the original Operating System.

As the Other Person said, see: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10

to download and reinstall Windows 10, once you have recreated your RAID-setup.
