On my hp keyboard, when I want to insert inverted commas I get unusual symbols. I know this is normal for certain conditions but can anyone please tell be how to change the keyboard to type (english) characters?

Here is how you can change the keyboard language.

 

  1. Click on the Start Menu. It's the Windows icon in the bottom left corner.
  2. Click on Settings.

    Click on the Start Menu and then click on Settings.

  3. Click on Time & language.
  4. Click on Region & language.

    Click on Time & language and then click on Region & language

  5. Click on the language you wish to add a keyboard layout to.
  6. Click on Options.

    Click on the language you want to add a key board to and then click on options.

  7. Click on Add a keyboard.
  8. Click on the keyboard you want to add.

    Click add a keyboard and then click on the keyboard you want to add it.
