I am having issues with my window updates.  The updates will configure and move to "working on updates" once it reached the triggers for  PC restarts it seems to get stuck.  I end up with a black screen and the spinning circle indicating that the system is working but it doesn't seem to resolve itself even after leaving the PC for 4-5 hours.  I then need to complete a hard restart to get the system to work again which then resets to a prior restoration point and the issue  starts all over again.  Any suggestions would be great on how to get these updates to take on my PC.

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Try using the Windows Update Troubleshooter from MS to see if that helps:  https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/instantanswers/512a5183-ffab-40c5-8a68-021e32467565/windows-upda...

Good Luck
