I need to download a version of Windows 7 64bit. My hard drive failed. I went to Microsoft to download the software but they would not allow the download because HP provded the software.
Where can I get a Windows 7 download to set up my desktop?

@SSCota, welcome to the forum.
HP does not provide operating systems. Microsoft prohibits it beyond the original one that came preinstalled. Check here to see if this company has the Recovery media for you computer. It will include the original OS. If not, you will have to buy a full version of whichever OS you want to buy. Also, here is the System Recovery, Backup & Restore section for the computer. You can check the guides that are applicable to your situation.
