Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

It became necessary to restore my pc. Using the original  restore disk that I created when  I first got the PC.

In the lifetime of this unit I have restored 4 time, each time successful, but this time I got everything loaded but IE 11.

I get the message that my win7 is too old to accept IE 11. I can't get into microsoft site, because all I'm stuck with now is

IE 8. This is still good computer and don't care to trash it.

Please help me.

I did some looking and found this M$ site indicating a IE11 download is available.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/18520/download-internet-explorer-11-offline-installer

It appears you can download this with a working computer and then install on the problem PC.
