i keep gettting pop ups i need driver update   but it has a one time payment i need to do it monthly...

I have no confidence in such "add-on" programs, that the computer user may have been induced to install.

 

There is no need to pay for "device-driver updates".

They are freely available from http://support.hp.com

 

Instead, access Control Panel (Windows 7) or Settings (Windows 10), and choose 'Uninstall A Program".

Select the "Driver Updater" software, and click to "uninstall" it.

After a reboot to complete the uninstall, you will never be asked for payment.
