Dear all,
There is no AHCI setting at dc5800 bios, while the machine is equipted with ICH9.
The latest bios ver. is yr. 2009.
HP must provid new bios ver. to support the machine running at reasonable performance.

My company has recently implemented a policy never to buy HP again due to this BIOS mess - it its all over the place , not just desktop machines.
They did it with AMD servers and locking out AMD-V, they have also gone and locked out VT and VT-d and AHCI as you can see here. This is a willful dishonest nerfing that is going on here.
Its a dispicable dishonest criminal practice.
This customer has stopped tolerating it. I suggest everyone do the same until they bring honesty and integrity back into their operating guidelines.
