Activating Microsoft Office 2010

Hello,

My computer comes with Microsoft Office 2010 but I need to activate it. I don't know where I would find the product key for it, if there is one. Can anyone please assist me? If there is no product key, that means I have to guy buy the software separately correct?

If it came bundled with the Starter Edition, there is no purchase necessary - this and other options are documented in the link below.

Thank you for your reply!  It does come with the starter edition, but the starter edition doesnt have a lot of features, does this mean I can just purchase the real Microsoft Office package and install that instead?

Hi,

The installation you already have contains the full version, it just requires activating so there is no need to uninstall this first, all you need to do is enter a valid Product Key ( you can either purchase this Key online, or just buy a retail copy of Microsoft Office and just use the Product Key that comes with it ).

i got my HP laptop 2 weeks ago . i need to do a  current event for school on microsoft office . It says i need an activation code . I don't have one .  I thought it came with the computer already .
