Audio Not Working on HP DC5750 SFF

I have an HP DC5750 Small Form Factor PC that I just installed a Radeon HD 2400xt in.  After I installed the Graphics card and drivers, my audio stopped working. There is no volume control, nor Realtek Audio symbol in the system tray. I reinstalled the realtek and universal microsoft audio drivers 3 times, and nothing has changed. Is there any way that you would go by fixing this issue? Thanks.

Reg, it sounds like a driver conflict to me.  Try uninstalling the ATI video driver.  Connect your monitor to the integrated video port. Then, reinstall the audio drivers to see what happens.

Alright, I uninstalled the audio driver, and the video driver and then reinstalled the audio driver. Same problem.  I went into the Sound and sudio options in the control panel and it says no audio device, but when I go under the hardware section, it says "ATI HDMI Audio" which is what my internal sound is. Anyway to get it to use this?

Reg, did you check around in the sound module in the Control Panel to see if there were boxes unchecked that should have been checked or vise-versa?  I have had this happen to me for seemingly no reason.

I just checked and when I go into the sound preferences, under the volume tab its says no audio device, and under sound playback under the audio tab it says no audio devices. But when I go under the hardware tab, it recognizes my internal audio bus which is what I play audio from. I have made sure everything is correct. Anymore suggestions?

 Are you sure it is a 5750 . I bought a dc5750 from newegg that turned out to be a dc5850 wich uses completly different drivers AND supports windows 7 .

 Watch carefully during start up at post and it will probably say dc5850 .
