Can Not Connect to HP Media Vault and WIRELESS Internet at the same time

When I connect an Ethernet cable to the computer to use my HP Media Vault Pro (mv5150), it will not allow me to also connect to the internet using the computer's wireless conductivity. The Ethernet cable is coming from a router, but there is no 'internet' connected via the Ethernet cable ... only via wireless, the is using and HP Desktop running Vista.

This is also an issue that I am having with a Windows 7 laptop, it is doing the exact same thing, so I know it is a software not a hardware issue.

To use wireless internet ... I have to unplug the Ethernet cable from the computer and then use the HP Media Vault I have to plug it back in again, but then the wireless internet will not work.

Seems like a little thing, but try having to do it 50 times a day.
