Hi everybody, I'm having a "little" trouble with a Catalyst Control Center (or whatever it is
) on my 6735s.
Problem is - it won't start
But lets start from the very begining -> CCC was able to run on Vista, which i had pre-installed on my laptop
Then, I've decided to "downgrade" to my old good XP SP2. And it was successful (surprisingly, but there was no errors etc).
After I downgraded to XPSP2 I tried to install CCC, but for some reasons it refused to work...
Well, it's not kind of it doesn't work at all, but I have no shourtcuts and no extra tab in floating menu and nothing in "Display Settings"=>"Advanced".
And in it's directory I just get lost in all of this *.EXE files (like Core.exe and Mom.exe etc), so I tried few, but the result still the same - nothing)
But drivers work pretty correctly... i guess
Next, I had my XP upgraded to SP3.I tried to reinstal CCC, but all still the same, even with new versions of CCC
So it is it, if anyone know what to do to run CCC, please halp.
Oh, by the way I have .NET Frimework 3.5 SP1 installed.
P.S. I didn't know where to post this topic, so feel free to move it if I did something wrond about that.

FYI on downgrading from Vista to XP
Hope yours is one of those Vista editions approved for downgrading..
I suppose you could dual boot a drive with both if you buy a stand alone "over the counter" version of the OS first.

So it may be possible, that CCC doesn't run because my "Downdraging" was like leaving the partition like it was and instal XP there?

Thx, gonna work it out somehow
