I did a clean installation of Windows 7 Ultimate. Everything is working just great, but of course I lost my preinstalled application, such as Microsoft Works and whatever other apps came preinstalled. My 'factory image' partition is intact, and I believe it has everything I need, but I cannot figure out how to get my apps back. Instruction say to use Recovery Manager, but that program was obliterated by the clean Win 7 install.
Bottom line: how can I recover/reinstall my preinstalled applications?

I don't think it can be done.
The only way to get those applications is to recover back to Vista and do an actual upgrade.

My research seemed to indicate that you could use Recoivery Manager to retrieve preinstalled apps. I was thinking that if I could download and reinstall Recovery Manager, I could get my apps back.
I'm pretty sure everything is in the factory image partition - there must be some of way of retrieving the apps, at least I hope there is.
