I had the same problem with the blue screen appearing and I tired to do the system recovery but when I try the to install the first disk or even before the blue screen appears again and I can never contiue the system recovery. The error message said to disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. Is there a way to disable BIOS for "compaq presario SR1124NX" Technical information: *** STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x7c4EF770,0x00000007,0x00000000,0x7C4EF770)

How do I "Disable BIOS memory options caching or shadowing" I am not asking how to do a recovery, I've done that about 6 times -to no effect. Where are the caching and shadowing BIOS options located? Hoiw do I access them? I have vista home premium on HP Media Center m8200n.
