Had you considered running Windows XP in a virtual machine environment to be able to run the SCADA program?
Which specific 8200 Elite PC do you have? there should be a # and three more characters after the XL508AV that you posted to identify your PC.

Where exactly can I find the # and the characters? On the top sticker I have:
Serial No. {Removed for privacy}
Product No. XL508AV
HP Compaq 8200 Elite CMT PC Limited Warranty:3y (XJ294AV)
Yeah, we've considered trying the virtual machine, as well as Dual Boot Installation W7/WXP, and still are undecided of which option would be the best

I checked further into the Virtual Machine possibility and according to the SCADA manufacturer it has not been tested enough so even if it could work, it is not supported.
At this point I lean more towards the Dual Boot possibility, I'm just worried about the drivers for my model with XP

The drivers for Windows XP that you seek are here on the HP servers.
Happy Dual-booting ![]()

I see I need to slipstream Intel Sata drivers with windows XP.
I found guide in the HP forums, http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Operating-Sys
Are the Sata drivers needed the ones I can find in the link you posted?
Thanks again

You will need to extract the SATA drivers from the softpaq download with WinRAR or Winzip and then slipstream them into the Windows XP installation image. The drivers are in the Deployment folder.
