DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL ADOBE FLASH PLAYER 9 ON USING FIREFOX? I HAVE VISTA PREMIUM OS. WHENEVER I DOWNLOAD THE FLASH PLAYER IT JUST ASKS IF I WANT TO SAVE THE FILE. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi,

 

 With regards to installing adobe flash 9 using firefox, you may click the save button. I'm sure there will be a new window asking to click "RUN" few minutes after clicking the save button. In addition, i believe there is a newer version for flash which is Adobe Flash 10, you can use this newer version instead.

With any browser that is not Internet Explorer that does not support active x, which is pretty much any browser that I personally come accross, Adobe will have you download the installer file and you will need to run that software for it to install the flash plugin for that browser. Now you may have to rerun that setup program if you install any other browsers and you want them to have the plugin.

Click on SAVE and it should be save to your DESKTOP since you are using MOZILLE FIREFOX (unless you change the destination of the downloads). After the download is finish. Close MOZILLA and RUN the downloaded flash player file from your desktop. After the installation is successful, open firefox again and you should be good to go now.
