My dock is already uncheck on the setting in the advisor, however it keeps loading every time windows starts, how do i disable it with uninstalling advisor?

 

please let me know asap, hp docks it's really getting on my nerves!

Hi,

   You can uninstall the HP advisor from Programs & Features  or you can run the msconfig from start button.

Once you get the msconfig utility then click on startup tab & then in the list you will find the HP advisor option which will be checked,if you uncheck that & then if you click on apply & then ok,allow the system to restart.You will see that system did not load the HP advisor during the next startup process.

I do have one question.

 

WHY COULD NOT  HP PUT A SETTINGS BUTTOM ON THE DOCK.

 

It took me an hour of searshing before i hit the proper words.

What ever that big bar is that loads at the top of my screen - DOCK? DASHBOARD? Thanks for the info. ( I also unchecked the box about marketing updates.):smileyhappy:

Thanks for the tip about disabling it on startup.

 

I had previously tried to uninstall it via the control panel and found that everytime the computer re-installs it for me.

 

I consider this program to be a virus personally
