I have a Pavillion P6336f desktop running Windows 7 Home Premium 64. I was having minor problems with Media Smart Photo. An HP rep said to uninstall it and reinstall it via Recovery Manager. After 10 tries, I can not get MS to reinstall. I do not get any error messages, it just doens't work. HP support has been wasting my time for 2 hours. does anyone have any suggestions?

I would'nt hold your breath with this problem,. There are quite a few others that are STILL WAITING for HP to sort out this issue with MediaSmart Music/photo/video.

It seems there is an issue when trying to re-install this software onto a HP PC that has upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista. The program seems to install but does not show up anywhere on the PC after re-booting.

HP have been aware of this issue since last November. Obviously the tech support person that advised you to uninstall then re-install was not aware of the problem.

Anyone have any update on a fix???

Hi, I'm having a minor issue with HP MediaSmart Photo.  For some reason, when I go to exit the program, the program freezes up and I have to do a Ctrl+Alt+Del to close it.  This does not happen with the other MediaSmart programs.  Does anyone know of a fix for this?  Thanks

This is not solved! I cannot use my webcam or any of mediasmart. I keep getiing the tranforms error does anybody have a solution besides starting from scratch??????
