Hi,
I've been looking all over the web and I hope that this has not been posted, but I am at my wits end so forgive me if it has.
Lost my recovery discs a long time ago and I accidentally formatted the drive not realizing I was going to lose the recovery partition. I guess that's what I get for doing this while I'm half asleep.
Anyways, I managed to find Windows XP MCE 2005 and downloaded/installed it...so far so good. Except........I'm missing a lot of drivers. I went to the HP Drivers Website and for some odd reason NONE of the drivers that I need are there ![]()
I hope someone can help me before I chuck this thing out the window....
Attached is a screenshot of the drivers that are missing:

Your computer specs can be found HERE and the motherboard specs can be found HERE. Drivers can be found at the following locations;
Realtek HD audio (check accept, click next and select 6th item down list)
Network included in chipset
That should take care of most of your issues.

Which driver are you missing? The list under "Driver-Original" looks to be complete, except for MS UAA required before Audio driver.You can just use the one from Realtek site posted above since it includes UAA.

Thankfully I got the one for the network while browsing other forums, after that through the updates some of the missing drivers installed themselves. Now all I have left is:
SM Bus Controller
Unknown Device
Please advice

Maybe the Modem? driver for it is listed in same place.
If that is not it,post the hardware id for it by right clicking,choosing Properties then the Details tab.Use the dropdown selector to choose hd id.

That would be the strange "away mode" driver we see pop up occasionally:
