Hey. I really need help finding the drivers for this computer. I went to HP.com and looked through the drivers to try and figure out which ones I needed, but I don't know which one to install first after I install XP.
I know there is a set of drivers you are supposed to install first and then the other ones come after, but I don't know which ones I actually need from there.
If anyone could point me in the right direction and let me know which ones to download and which ones to install first, that would be great and I would really appreciate it.

Did you look at these drivers?
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os
Then the MS XP service packs 2 and 3
After that you can go to the manufacturer's web site for up-to-date hardware drivers such as Realtec....Intel....

Chipset should always be the first driver installed, with a reboot before others. Just for convenience it is good to install graphics next. Most of the others can be done in any order...except that most of the drivers require at least XP SP2. If your cd doesn't have SP2, you can get it HERE as a full download to install first after XP.
You will also need MS UAA before Realtek Audio. The version depends on SP..post back with info.Or_get the driver directly from Realtek site, which includes correct UAA driver for all SP.Choose High Definition Audio Codecs, accept agreement, then get the "Executable" file: HERE
