HP Pavilion a6345.sc screen interference

Suddenly I can't start up my computer brought in march 2008. After I startup,vista hangs just before windows should start up. I never had any problems before. There seems to be some interference the screen frequency before it goes black. Also before the harddrive startupsequence. Like if I go into the bios setup, it lines flashes in the background, like when a television is not tuned correct.

I have tried to systemrepair, since it's the only option if I reboot. And then last I did a recovery to factory settings. But the problem is not solved, and first boot is going black after it try to prepare for the first time start.

Bill thx but I have already tried all basic instruction from HP. And a commandpromp isn't possible, since there is no option for this at my recovery discs. I tried to download XP, and other bootdiscs from the net since I read that this could make a command promp possible, but it was just more waste of time.

Problem is that bios is also having the screen background flash, so I believe it's a hardwareproblem now.  And recovery only makes everything worst, since the problem is at the startup. And therefor it break the factory installing after the first reboot.

Also I notice the problem is not there if I turn on my computer the first time after it havn't been turned on for a while. Som heat might causing it to be to hot and then make the hardware fail.
