I'm having a recurrent problem with HP Update notifications. When the alert comes on the screen, it is about a 2 inch square and I am unable to make it large enough to read the entire text. This happened before and Tech Support helped. But the fix didn't 'stick'. Any assistance appreciated, or should I just keep calling TS?

Is this HP Update notification from the HP Total Care Advisor program or do you manually run the Hp Update program?
You can reinstall the HP Update software using the Recovery Manager program on your pc.
Other than that it's gotta be either your hp total care advisor settings or maybe resolution is too high.

Please post rather than send me a Message. It's good for the community and I might not be able to get back quickly. - Thank you.

I have the same problem. While I suppose I could set my dpi back to standard, I have poor eyesight
and that makes most other programs too small to use. And the reboot required makes the update
notification go away, and I might have to wait a lo0ng time for it to return.
I've tried the "HP solutions center" icon, but it can't find my HP printer.
I guess I'll have to do without updates. Or what phone number do I call for help?

Oh - lest anyone at HP think this has been solved - going to all programs etc and opening
HP Update that way just opens the tiny window, not all text visible, and the yes and no buttons not
visible. So I can't check for updates that way.
Hmm - maybe if I close everything, reboot, change font size, reboot, get a magnifying glass,
open HP update manually, reboot, change font size, .... well, you get the idea.
How about using a larger window, or, if that would cost more than HP can afford,
putting in scroll bars so I can get to the buttons?

I am having the same problem. Has anyone discovered the solution? The HP Update window shows an update is available. but the right side and bottom edge of this box does is cut off. The yes and no buttons must be on the bottom edge which is not shown. The window can't be resized. I need to see what these updates are.

2 Press enter.
This will open the dialog box that displays which updates are available, and allow you to apply them if you wish, and make that maddening update box go away.

Thank you. That worked! This is my first time posting and just in case I did not do it right. This is in reply to: Click on the update box and press enter.
Thank you.
