Hi,
Bought my HPE 1080uk a month back and it supports Vt-x. Mine runs Windows 7 64-Bit Home Premium.
I have 2 issues with the system and not able to find a solution yet.
1. VT-x is disabled by default and not able to find a way to enable it. My BIOS is V 7.11 and the option is not available on the BIOS (in fact, none of the advanced options are available on the BIOS). I've cross checked the processor features (Intel i7-2600) everywhere (including through securable) and it's confirmed that VT-x is disabled. It's a horrible thing for HP to do that. I badly need VT-x. Please suggest something (either by BIOS Downgrade - pros & cons, or upgrade - checked everywhere for update).
2. IDT Audio Codec is not being supported under Linux. What is the workaround for that.
The 1st one is the most critical. I can figure out the 2nd one eventually.
Any help appriciated.
