Pavilion PC and XP Home
I used Hybernate for the first time, briefly, just in order to install dual 24" ViewSonic LED monitors.
When I came out of Hybernation, EVERYTHING for the last 2 months on this pc was GONE, e.g., email and folders, all browsing histories for FireFox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera, and Netscapre, all my documents were gone for two months, and those that were still there had none of my entries and additions to them for the last 2 months, etc.!
PLEASE HELP ME!!

Hibernation has been known as flaky. Actually you should have shut down completely anyway when hooking up new hardware.
Have you restarted the machine to see if files reappear? Slight chance I suppose.

Yes, I should've shut down all the way... just in a hurry, I gyess. I just hate waiting for the thing to boot. I'll know better next time, and I'll try your suggestion now. Wish me luck, and thanks.
