Hp OMNI 120-1132 SLOW? magic canvas?

I just got a Hp omni few days ago, to add with my toshiba laptop that i purchased around 3 years ago. Im finding that the simple things are taking so long to get done, downloading a file of pictures and nothing to large. Iv even compared uploading the same disk of photos and music on both computer and my laptop is noticeably faster I don't understand why. So then i began to think. I noticed with this model i get ""hp magic canvas" which i do not need. So question being, can i get rid of this magic canvas and if i do will it free up some of the space or make it run any quicker?
