Okay, i am sick to my stomach with this problem. I have a H.P Pavilion 510n (and its over 5 years old so H.P gave me the middle finger) i have been using it for a while and it has worked perfectly fine. The other night i ran a disk clean and a Defragment. I restarted the computer and logged onto my profile the next day. It said i need to activate the windows software again!!! So i looked at my authentication sticker and put in the correct code (multiples times i might add) So windows says i need to call h.p and get another authentication code. So i call up good ole' h.p and they say go to a this website and talk to a technician. This is the closest thing i found to a technician. I would post the numbers up here since they are practically useless, but for privacy reasons i wont. Please help, i need this computer.

The product key on the sticker is normally the wrong one. I have a new HP and it does not match the real product key.
Run Magicjellybean and it should give you the correct product code.
