Is it possible to obtain a Windows XP Home Edition Recovery Disk for my 2003 Pavilion 523n

[ Edited ]

Trying to recover my 2003 HP Pavilion 523n

[Serial Number removed for privacy]

- System#:9851A

During boot it requests a bootable disk.  Is it possible to obtain that disk from here?

Kind regards,

Hi, Daryl:

You can try to order a set from HP by following the info at the link below. Don't get your hopes up because that is a pretty old PC, and HP probably doesn't have them anymore.  But you have nothing to lose by trying.

If HP doesn't have them, the good news is you can order a set from this vendor for $27 + shipping.

Greetings Paul,

Thanks for the information.  The desktop I have is rather old and because of its age HP doesn't have the recovery disks but your additional information was spot on.  Thanks again.

Kind regards,

Daryl
