Re: Loss of internet connectivity in Internet Explorer or Error Message

Most of the internet explorer error's can be fixed by unchecking enable third party browser extension which is in advanced tab of IE option which can be accessed by clicking on Tools on the top right, then on Internet Options and click on Advanced tab . Make sure once you uncheck enable third party browser extension, close internet explorer & reopen or restart the system once to take effect .

Re: Loss of internet connectivity in Internet Explorer or Error Message

I have similar problem on HP Pav 735n after non-destructive system recapture using (F-10) at start up. Computer will not connect thru wireless network and D-Link DWA-125 AND ROUTER (BOTH NETWORK DEVICES WORKIN CORRECTLY and show "installed" and "Connected"   Yet the computer refuses to go on line.  Have installed updates from HP still no change.  F10 is supposed to return all settings to factory defaults but that would include internet connectivity I think.  Any ideas why the computer would lose connectivity after Recapture???

Re: Loss of internet connectivity in Internet Explorer or Error Message

Referring to the third party browser extension - you have a

three choice, Allow, Block or Prompt. You must select one

of the choices, most likely prompt. I personally select block.

Still learning, thanks for your help.

Re: Loss of internet connectivity in Internet Explorer or Error Message

Please follow the below steps to fix the IE issue:

    For windows7:

Please click on start-> control panel-> Network and Internet-> Internet options-> Advanced tab-> Click on Reset button at the bottom and click on apply and OK.

Please do not update Internet explorer version to 9. The main reason is Microsoft has launched only IE9 beta version (Trial version). There are many issues with this. So please don't upgrade your IE more than 8 versions.

If you have already upgraded it then please follow the below steps to remove it from your computer.

Please click on start-> control panel-> click on uninstall a program under program icon-> Click on "view installed updates" which is on the left side of the window-> Find IE9 and right click on it and click on uninstall.

Re: Loss of internet connectivity in Internet Explorer or Error Message

I agree. I usually turn off all IE accessories inluding those toolbars. And plugin enabled are only flash and java.

I wont why microsft still hasn't have a stable version of IE9.

Re: Loss of internet connectivity in Internet Explorer or Error Message

Since the first Post made here, IE9 has settled down, as for myself have found IE9 to be most workable. Unless you find it essential to install Java, then don't, caused me several malware errors reporting on my screen, uninstalling Java cured reported errors.

Still learning, thanks for your help.
