I have a Pavilion Elite HPE-110t computer (Win7). I just got a pop-up: "2 Important Updates", 1 of which was "Create a recovery disc".
I've already created recovery discs: via Start > All Programs > Recovery Manager > Recovery Disc Creation. I just checked the contents of disc#1 (of 3) & found several folders/files dates 4-27-10. I got my computer on 3-6-10.
I'm concerned that when I created these recovery discs, maybe I didn't "cross a T or dot an I", resulting in non-workable discs.
I thought the system would only allow a single set to be created. Should I just try to create another set? If so, I'll surely keep both sets. Murphy's Law tells me then that neither set will work.

I would try to make another set of recovery disks. The system will no doubt allert you that a set has been made in the past. This may be what it will take to clear the warning. It has worked in the past.

There should be a setting in the HP Support Assistant or HP Healthcheck to turn off the reminder.
