Please give Kudos. What other kind of recognition could I get?

I try to hate Macintosh. I really do. But I can't bring myself to hate any electronic device.

Scolton, yes indeed, I use CCleaner and under Application, MSAntimalware was checked. I have now unticked this application. Your response was most appreciated and I thank you.

Since my last post, MSE has become pear shape. Again shows "Unprotected", another session now shows that "could not turn on real time protection on". As a precaution against this step by MSE, uninstalled and reinstalled MSE and will have to await further computer sessions to see if error reappears.

Since downloading a new copy of MSE and installing same, error has not resurfaced, well for the time being. I will certainly keep in contact, thank you.
