I have been having a lot of problems with my computer.
1-Shuts off randomly.
2-Doesn't turn on properly
3-The fan gets VERY LOUD randomly for a long time.
4-It starts to lag.

All of the symptoms you mention (with exception of #2 maybe), are signs of overheating. If you haven't cleaned it in a while it may be time for a spring cleaning. You can purchase compressed air at most stores that carry any type of PC supplies. Remove the side panel and blow it out really good, paying special attention to the fan and heatsink over the procressor. Also check all vents, air holes as they can become clogged with dust and prevent cool air entering the case.If it has been a long time or never you might want to take the tower outside for the cleaning-amazing how much dust they collect.

You have a standard 1 yr warranty from HP. With problems that severe on a new machine I would request service under the warranty>>Contact HP
