Why there is no download for keyboard driver for Vista, or Windows XP 64-bit?
HARDWARE PRODUCT MODEL USING 32-BIT OS: HP Compaq d530
The driver is available only for Windows XP (SOFTPAQ NUMBER: SP26150.exe):
It works on Vista, but the icon in the tray area is hidden (there is no icon on the tray area). I am using exe file: "C:\Program Files\COMPAQ\Easy Access Button Support\Cpqeaui.exe" to set up buttons.
Can anyone help me how to find the driver for Windows Vista 32 bit and XP 64 bit for this keyboard with 8 programmed buttons:

Hi Lz2Kc,
It looks like you have a Business PC. Did the keyboard come with the PC, or is it one you just want to use with the keyboard?
Here is a HP Support document that should help. I linked to the bookmarked section that has a link to the Vista 32bit driver for Consumer PC Keyboard drivers in Vista. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docnam
Hopefully this is what you are looking for.
Let us know how it goes.

I just bought a brand-new PS2 HP Easy Access keyboard and I love it. HP's xp Easy Access driver DOES work, except for the absent tray icon, fine with Vista on my HP Compaq D530 SFF computer with "HP Compaq" as install selection of computer and not "EVO Desktop". My Control Panel DOES include the Access Buttons item. It's possible to program shortcut Buttons for even "Sleep" and file "Search". I've even neatly cut and taped tiny typed and icon printer paper labels to cover originals for Buttons. Good luck!

Update:
I recently tried to reinstall in Vista using a different HP (20" instead of 19") monitor and it wouldn't work. It DID work after I checked the first 3 Compatibility Settings ("Run in 256 colors", "Run in 640 X 480 screen resolution", and "Disable visual themes", although only 1 or 2 of those may be necessary) in the Setup properties. The results were as normal as before without any effects of these Setup changes, except the system tray icon is still not available. But there IS, of course, the nice Control Panel item.
