Re: No Drivers For My Windows 7 32bit PC

Most likely once the drivers for the ethernet card are loaded, Windows can find them for you.  Start by installing the Vista driver for the Lan: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=pv-56327-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&...

Or get the info for each one from the Vista download page: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=2093&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=3655...

Then search outside of HP for the driver.  They are not unusal brands or devices, so it should not be a problem.

Re: No Drivers For My Windows 7 32bit PC

I know that but mostly the Vista Lan driver will work for temporarily and then allow the windows 7 OS to find the drivers for you since HP does not show them.  The link was for the Vista driver, did it work?

Re: No Drivers For My Windows 7 32bit PC

Well, assuming you have access on something, download it on a different PC and trasfer to the problem PC with a flash drive.

Re: No Drivers For My Windows 7 32bit PC

Hi,

Iam from Germany. You can download and install the original Driver for your LAN Card from Realtek: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=7&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTy...

If the Driver corectly installed, search for Windows Updates. Sometimes find Windows Updates the other Drivers automatic.

Best Regards

Re: No Drivers For My Windows 7 32bit PC

Assuming that the PC in the first post had internet before the ill conceived plan to update to Windows 7.  Is that correct?  Run the Recovery DVD set which will return the PC to Vista, and then download all the necessary drivers for windows 7 and place them on a CD or flash drive and then start over.
