Please help. CPU won't turn on.

When I press the power button on my CPU it doesn't turn on. I have checked the power supply, opened the CPU and cleaned it with air, and it still doesn't work. The green light behind the CPU is solid green when I plug in my power supply, but when I press the power button the fan doesn't work, an the power button doesn't turn on. Please help.

Hello mitanshu81, Here  is a link that may have some information on how to troubleshoot power supply issues.

This is exactly the scenario i had 3 weeks ago when i had my HPE h8-1125sc delivered.

I was quite suprised that a PC can be delivered like this from HP.

This is how i solved it:

Check for any connector on the mobo named something like "F_Panel".

If it is empty, look for any loose cable coming from the top op the PC where the PowerOn button is, with connector that is similar and should fit into the connector "F_panel.

Connect the cable!

This was my case, hopefully it can help you!

The power button on the back is on, its green. Whats not working is the fan, and the power button.
