Reformating Hard Drive and reinstalling Vista without a disk

I have an HP Pavilion Elite m 9040N running Vista Home Premium that was suppied by HP.  I do not have a disk with Vista on it.  I want to reformat the hard drive and reinstall the OS.  Any suggestions on what I need to do?  Thanks, Steve

Steve,

Burn a set of the HP Recovery Disks. You will need three (3) DVD+Rs.  Do not use r/w media.  Backup your data.

If your question is really "How to Reformat Hard Drive and reinstall Vista without a disk" then why not read the reply Big_Dave made (above). It has the answers. I will add that HP does prefer that you use DVD+R media.
