Searching multiple tags in MediaSmart... How?

THE SETUP:  I just purchased a new system -- HP Pavillion Elite HPE-170f, 64 bit -- and am now busily transferring data from my old system and playing with the shiny new toys on my new system.  One of those shiny new toys is HP MediaSmart, which came installed on the new system.  I LOVE the idea of it, but can't seem to figure out how to make one of my favorite alleged features work.

THE PROMISE:  According to the description of MediaSmart's features on this site, I should be able to tag a video of my family vacation at the Grand Canyon with multiple tags, such as "family," "vacation," and "Grand Canyon."  Then, when I later search for "Grand Canyon family vacation," MediaSmart should take me straight to the exact video that matches all of those tags.

THE PROBLEM: Although I CAN tag pictures and videos with multiple tags, the software seems to only allow me to search for one tag at a time.  I.e., I can tag that Grand Canyon family vacation video with "family," "vacation," and "Grand Canyon," but I can only search for "family." Or "vacation." Or "Grand Canyon."

• If I search for only one of those tags -- "family," e.g. -- then I get ALL the videos that contain a "family" tag. 
• If I attempt to search for multiple tags -- either space-separated, comma-separated, or semi-colon separated -- I get no search results whatsoever.

Basically, despite the promise of "multiple tag searching" in HP's descriptions of the MediaSmart software, I seem to be limited to only single tag, exact-match searching.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?  Or is HP's description of the MediaSmart software just out of sync with the reality of it?  Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated, as I'd love to use the multiple tag search feature to organize my picture and video collections...
