I have a HP Pavillion Slimline s7320n running on Windows XP.
I am trying to system recovery the computer and erase everything on it.
I selected "F10 System Recovery".
However, after the system recovery, some of the softwares is not erased, like MSN messeger. When i try to open it it would say error and tell me to reinstall the software.
Is there any way to completely recover the computer and not save previous datas and softwares?

When you boot into Recovery using F10 ,you should see an Advanced option where you format C: and reinstall clean, taking away all added files, apps, etc.
You can also make a Recovery CD/DVD set to boot from and completely clean hdd and reinstall.
