Hi,
Am not sure what you mean by saying total care advisor is not doing anything. Please elaborate on that part.

Have sent you an e-mail with screenshot. Sorry about the delayed response. Was on vacation with no e-mail access.

Hi,
Checked the settings and it seems as though the new Total Care Advisor is built to open as dashboard initially. And you can select the module you wish to open from the dashboard. The idea I can think is to save startup programs, process that would make PC eventually faster and it saves desktop space by opening a dashboard bar.

I have a Compaq SR5310F running Vista Home Premium. I recently had my copy of PC Advisor updated by the HP Update service. Unfortunately, now whenever I run the PC Dashboard the application crashes. I manually downloaded and installed the update again ( SP43112.exe ) but still have the problem. Is SP43112.exe just an update or a complete re-install? Should I uninstall HP Advisor before doing the re-install? Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi,
You can install from SP43112.... Send me a private message with e-mail id if you face any problem. I will send you a document that explains the steps with screenshot.
