Tried the 5 step plan as suggested on HP/Compaq site. This forum is the last step ..
Can't find drivers on HP site or else. Only drivers I can find for my PC are not supported by windows7.
Windows update and Fix it tool don't contribute as well.
Should be so hard to find the commonly used 2.0 USB drivers I would say !?
Anybody a suggestion? Thanks in advance!

Hi:
Normally, USB drivers are included with the chipset driver. You have the ATI Radeon Xpress Chipset for Intel Processors.
You can do a google search to see what you can come up with. I have been unsuccessful finding an exact solution.
Everything I have found just refers to the graphics driver or catalyst control center.
Since this is an Intel based board with the ATI chipset you can take a long shot and run the Intel Driver Update Utility at the link below and see what that comes up with: You'll see it on the top left side of the web page.

Hi,
Unfortunately I already tried that one and it didn't help me.
What about the ATI Radeon Xpress 200 chipset, found a driver on http://driverscollection.com/?file_cid=42111963630
Thx

Hi:
You have nothing to lose by giving it a try.
I don't understand why W7 didn't have the USB/chipset drivers already included in the installation disk. That is an old chipset but is Windows 7 capable.
