Video Conversion software

I tried two different trial programs for video conversions. Both were a bit troublesome to get installed under Vista 64 bit, and both would not convert a .mov file from my digital camera.

Any ideas why this could be? The video files previously ran under XP Pro SP2 in Real Player.

 Anyone know of really good conversion software?  The programs I tried were Movie Converter v4 and Need4 Video.

Your issue is going to be more about finding one that plays well with Vista 64-bit. I really have no idea what people use. Mine is 32-bit.

I have Yasa mp4 video converter, it's a good convertion tool, works with most video formats and operates faster than other converters I tried. I'm also on Vista and it works just fine.

THank you for your suggestion.  I hope it works under Win 7 just as well as Vista.
