Video Instructions for Finding Software and Drivers for HP Desktop PC's

I tried this and when it got to the end of udating it crashed the system and I had to manually shut down and restart in safe mode.  That is how I am on the internet right now. In safe mode.  I just want permission from Hp to send this to Best Buy and have them ship it in for whatever needs to be done because I am not a techie.

There is no "PC Help & Tools" folder in the start menu.  Nor can I locate the program called "Recovery Manager".  So, what do I do if I need to recover anything.  Also, is there a way to get the entire thing on DVD disks or even a flash drive in case the hard drive crashes at some future date?

I have  Hp Compaq dc 7900 convertible  PC. Currently  i installed windows server 2008  64 bit OS & could not find VGA driver. would help me where i find the drivers?

Hope you are incorrect about HP bios update, I installed one on my spouses notebook yesterday and so far so good.
